Think You Know Everything About Cognizin®? Think Again.
February 28, 2011 Deborah Yurgelun-Todd, Ph.D., Director of the Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory at The Brain Institute at The University of Utah, will present new scientific data on Kyowa Hakko's branded brain health ingredient Cognizin(R) in an education session entitled "Attention, Memory & Recall: Cognizin's Role in Brain Function" at SupplyExpo on Saturday, March 12 from 3 - 4 p.m. in room 207C. Dean P. Jones, Ph. D. of Emory University Publishes his Scientific Review of Glutathione's Function
February 8, 2011 Glutathione, a naturally occurring chemical found in every cell of the human body, and its role in health and disease was the subject of a comprehensive scientific review published in the February 2011 issue of Natural Medicine Journal (www.naturalmedicinejournal.com). Dean P. Jones, Ph.D., Professor, Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Emory University compiled "The Health Dividend of Glutathione," which includes: an overview of glutathione and where it is found in the body; a review of how glutathione is maintained in tissues and body fluids; discussion of glutathione deficiency, the gap that exists between available glutathione and the amount needed for optimal health; and a summary of clinically supported strategies for improving the body's glutathione levels.
