Kyowa Hakko Develops White Paper Kit Featuring Amino Acids and Related Compounds for Release Throughout 2007

New York, NY – Kyowa Hakko, the first global company to successfully produce and commercialize amino acids using proprietary fermentation methods, has announced development of a white paper kit to initially include six ingredient white papers. The white paper kit and first product paper focusing on Citicoline, will be available in December, with other ingredient white papers distributed throughout 2007.

Kyowa Hakko, the amino acid manufacturing leader who has introduced a wide range of fermentation-based amino acids, developed the white paper kit in conjunction with Kyowa’s newly formed Product Development Research Center in Tsukuba, Japan. The technical reports and references will provide an overview of the latest science on amino acids and related compounds.

The white paper kit in distribution during December 2006/January 2007 will include: product specific booklets for Citicoline, Memory and Learning and Amino Acids, Glutathione, Immune System and Amino Acids, Hydroxyproline, Healthy Skin and Amino Acids, an overview of Kyowa’s Healthcare Product Development Center and a 2007 calendar. Additional white papers will feature: CoQ10, Sodium Hyaluronate, L-Arginine, L-Glutamine, Lipolysis/Fat burning and Amino Acids and Amino Acids and Exercise for Muscle Building in February 2007; Lifestyle-related Diseases and Arginine, Glutathione and Soy Science™, BCAA, Mental Concentration and Amino Acids GABA, Oral Care and Amino Acids in April 2007; Menaquione-4, Menopause and Andropause, and Senior Health in August 2007; L-Histidine, L-Ornithine, Stress Reduction and Amino Acids, Relaxation and Amino Acids and Sleep and Amino Acids in October 2007; L-Citruline, Ala-Gln, Renal Health and Liver Health and Amino Acids in December 2007.

Kyowa will send quarterly updates that will include information about stress reduction, fat loss, sleep, and athletic performance as well as other product specific booklets, which can be added to the kit.
