A clinical study recently published in Nutrition Research shows individuals supplementing their diets with Pantesin®, a highly absorbable and biologically active form of Vitamin B5, significantly lowered their LDL cholesterol levels.
The triple-blind, placebo/diet controlled trial included participants with low to moderate risk of cardiovascular disease. After 16 weeks, the group taking Pantesin saw significant drops in LDL levels in relations to the placebo group. Results are especially noteworthy, as prior studies have shown that each 1mg/DL reduction in LDL cholesterol lowers cardiovascular disease risk by 1 percent.
