Kyowa Hakko Presents Cognizin™ and CSPHP at Nutracon Poster Session
March 1, 2004
New York, N.Y. – Kyowa Hakko U.S.A. and Kyowa Hakko Kogyo, a subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko U.S.A., will each present a poster session at Nutracon, the premier scientific education and networking conference in Anahiem, CA, March 4-5.
The Kyowa Hakko U.S.A. poster session features Cognizin™ brand citicoline and a study using a Morris water maze cylindrical water-filled pool with a hidden platform to research the memory capacity of mice. The study involving 40 eight week-old male mice focused on the tendency of mice to memorize the platform location and to mount it from the water.
Kyowa Hakko Kogyo will present CSPHP, a newly developed soy protein/phospholipid complex system that may help maintain healthy cholesterol levels within the normal range. CSPHP, an abbreviation for C-fraction soy protein hydrolysate with bound phospholipids, is a newly developed soy peptide. It is considered by the FDA as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS). A recent study by Kyowa Hakko Kogyo at Gifu University and Tokushima University in Japan, suggested that CSPHP helps promote healthy cholesterol levels within the normal range.
After Nutracon, both Kyowa Hakko groups will exhibit at SupplyExpo, booth #639.
