John P. Richie, Jr., Ph.D. to Speak at SupplySide West

New York, NY – John P. Richie, Jr., Ph.D., professor of Public Health Sciences and Pharmacology Cancer Institute at Penn State University School of Medicine, will be the featured speaker discussing the latest scientific discoveries about the breach between food intake and need for Glutathione dietary supplementation, at the Kyowa Hakko USA VendorWorks seminar at SupplySide West. The seminar will be held on Friday, October 24, 10 to 10:50 a.m. in the Galileo Room #901 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Dr. Richie holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Louisville. He has been researching Glutathione for over 25 years including its role in protecting against oxidative damage during aging and the development of cancer at numerous sites. Dr. Richie's research focuses on factors that regulate Glutathione, oxidative stress and cancer risk in individuals and in populations. His major areas of focus include the nutritional regulation of glutathione during aging and mechanisms of cancer induction by oxidative stress and its protection by Glutathione.
